◆ Purposes of Research This Research, ‘People’s sense of language in 2010’, was conducted in 2nd wave in this year after 1st wave in 2005. Part of the sense of language would be changed although there would be the part which was not changed for past 5 years. It is possible to apprehend the people’s overall sense of the language as this research covered the sense of language generally. The main objectives of this research is providing the basic material for planning future Korean policy and vitalizing study of language by gathering the data which enable to observe and trace the change of sense of language based on the results from the research of people’s sense of language and real condition of the language usage. ◆ Methods of Research This research will be conducted by the method as below for achieving the objectives. ① Sample design would be done by following the characteristic of the target population ② Modify and complement the index which was decided from the 1st wave(in 2005) by expert meeting ③ Improve the Interviewer’s understanding as for this research by the education of interviewers ④ Conduct this research based on the guidelines ⑤ Summary and Analyze the data by statistical treatment ⑥ Search and Analyze the foreign cases which are similar with this research
